FASTANK have recently designed and manufactured an innovative new product, ‘The Bio Security Bund’. The product has been developed in partnership with organisations that have a periodic requirement for Biosecurity measures during an animal and plant disease outbreak.

The Bund is specifically designed to disinfect vehicles, and can be used in 3 different ways:

• As a shallow bath of disinfectant which vehicles can travel through.
• As a contained area for spraying vehicles and wheels.
• In conjunction with conventional disinfectant absorbent mats.

The 6.5 x 4m Bund is the only portable system that guarantees complete tread disinfection with 100% containment, allowing for the recovery and reuse of disinfectant. This Bund prevents secondary pollution and avoids any harm to the environment or adjacent watercourses. Additionally, the FASTANK® Bio Security Bund can be custom-manufactured to accommodate various wheel diameters.
